Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy

Release tension and find more ease.

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle therapy using a subtle, soothing touch. Because it's held in a safe environment, it enables change, so the body can release tension and settle into calmness.

For instance, helping you to feel sensations and perceive vibrations in your body can give a sense of wholeness and equilibrium. There is always health available in a person's body and the biodynamic approach taps into this health.

Held back for Nicki to decide: Claims about natural healing and self-repair, reducing chronic pain from migraines, fibromyalgia and injury, and lessening PTSD, anxiety, depression and anger are medical claims.

Identifying areas that are restricted in the body, particularly in the nervous system, and by connecting with the health and vitality, Craniosacral Therapy supports and encourages natural healing and self-repair. In addition, as natural healing takes place physical changes also happen such as a reduction of chronic pain that has occurred through conditions such as migraines, fibromyalgia and injury for example. Similarly, this therapy also works intimately with trapped emotions and is a profound way to lessen the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder such as anxiety, depression and anger issues.

What a session is like

Proposed wording, not yet Nicki's:

Sessions are slow and quiet. You stay fully clothed, and the touch is light and still, following what your body is doing rather than pushing it anywhere.

To confirm with Nicki: Confirm the session description (position, clothing, length) and any current professional membership, e.g. the Craniosacral Therapy Association, which the old page showed.

Sessions are complementary and not a substitute for medical or psychological care. If you have a health concern, please speak to your GP. Wellbeing note and crisis support
